April 2025 Events in San Diego County
Spring has officially sprung in beautiful San Diego County! Let’s check out what is going on this month around the county and start making plans for the best April yet. Let’s take a look at a few featured events:
Immerse In Local Culture
We have three great festivals happening in San Diego County this April. On April 5th we have the North Park Festival of Beers where you can explore local breweries and get a taste of what makes San Diego Special.
Next we have the Fallbrook Avocado Festival on April 13th. This annual celebration of Avocados is a fan favorite and although Avocados are not technically in season during the festival, many cute avocado themed gifts and decor are available to snatch up.
Ready for an elevated afternoon of the creme de la creme of classic cars? You won’t want to miss the Jolla Concours D’Elegance on April 25th-27th! This is a rare opportunity to see and experience the finer side of automotive history and fandom.
Stay Active
First up we have the Mickey Cafagna Memorial Gold Classic on April 4th which was established to honor the former Mayor of Poway. This annual charity event donates a portion of its proceeds this year to Kiwanis Club of Poway. It features 18 holes of golf, an awards dinner, games, prizes and an online auction.
Next we have the Oceanside Ironman 70.3 on April 5th. This extreme fitness event features a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride, and 13.1-mile run. The race will start and finish at the boat ramp inside Oceanside Harbor. We’ll be sitting this one out and cheering the accomplished athletes on from the sidelines.
