Local Pug Rescues

Pug Nation Los Angeles is my pug Cheddar’s rescue.

This rescue happens to be one of the largest pug specific rescues in the country and they have a wonderful facility in Long Beach, CA where you can meet their available pugs. Pug Nation adopts nationwide and works with many rescues across the country to ensure every puggy finds a forever home.

Pug Rescue of San Diego County is a great organization located throughout San Diego County via devoted fosters. They host several fundraising events throughout the year and do excellent work in the rescue community. If you have or want to have a pug here in San Diego County, you’ll want to stay in the loop with this amazing rescue.

Tiny Paws Pug Rescue is located in Central California near Santa Cruz but like most pug rescues, they happily adopt to people near and far in hopes of finding perfect homes for their rescued pugs. Fun Fact: Doug the Pug, an avid pugfluencer, adopted his pug sister, Dory, through this rescue.

Pug Rescue of Korea brings pugs from Korea where they were previously unwanted (*gasp*) to the US where they are placed in foster homes awaiting their new forever homes. Pugs are typically flown in from Korea to Los Angeles or NYC where they await love, security, and yummy foods. Like the other pug rescues, this rescue does not limit their adoptions to any geographical area.
