Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties recently announced that Christine Lopez has joined the Carlsbad office, bringing with her a wealth of experience in luxury markets, entrepreneurship, and community leadership, according to a news release.

With nearly a decade of experience in the jewelry industry as a gemologist, business owner, and entrepreneur, Lopez has honed a keen eye for luxury assets and developed a reputation for excellence and integrity. Her deep understanding of high-value acquisitions, combined with her creative approach to marketing, has already made her an award-winning professional.

Lopez, who moved to North County San Diego almost 10 years ago to attend the Gemological Institute of America, has long admired the region for its beauty and tight-knit community. She currently resides in the area with her fiancé and rescue pug, and she’s deeply committed to serving the local community.

“My goal is to help as many people as possible achieve homeownership, especially those within the local jewelry industry,” said Lopez in the news release. “With my background in the luxury market and commitment to sustainability, I aim to be the go-to Realtor for anyone looking to invest in real estate.”

Lopez has received numerous accolades, including being honored twice in UCLA Alumni’s Bruin Business 100 for her achievements in the business world (2022 & 2024), and winning many business awards and grants for her entrepreneurial success in and outside the jewelry industry. Additionally, she is working toward the Accredited Buyers Agent certification and holds certifications such as the VALoan.com VA Certified Agent, Referral Channel R Certified, Professional Certificate in Local Government & Community: Partnering for Success, and BHHS Brand Ambassador.

Outside of work, Lopez is passionate about jewelry design, beach days, and community service. She serves on the Program Advisory Committee at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and is a past president of the Women’s Jewelry Association San Diego Chapter. She is also actively involved with various charitable organizations that support education, women in business, and the jewelry industry.
